چکیده
This study provides insights into the experience gained from investigating thermodynamic behavior of well and reservoir fluids during acid gas injection (AGI) in a hydrocarbon field to enhance oil recovery (EOR) reduce greenhouse emissions. Unlike conventional water natural injection, AGI involves complicated phase changes physical property variations at various pressure-temperature (P-T) conditions compositions, both constitute crucial parts EOR chain. A workflow is developed deal with fluid thermodynamics, which key requirement for successful design operation. The focuses firstly on development models (EoS) simulate injected their integration dynamic models. Subsequently, proposes simulation fluids’ interaction determine Minimum Miscibility Pressure (MMP), yielding evolution miscibility that may appear within reservoir. Flow assurance transportation lines wellbore also considered by estimating hydrate formation conditions.

simulation and experimental studies for prediction mineral scale formation in oil field during mixing of injection and formation water
abstract: mineral scaling in oil and gas production equipment is one of the most important problem that occurs while water injection and it has been recognized to be a major operational problem. the incompatibility between injected and formation waters may result in inorganic scale precipitation in the equipment and reservoir and then reduction of oil production rate and water injection rate. ...
Poro-thermoelastic Mechanisms in Wellbore Stability and Reservoir Stimulation
Some fundamental mechanisms associated with cooling/heating of the rock in the context of drilling and reservoir stimulation in enhanced geothermal systems are described. The role of temperature and pore pressure in wellbore failure and fracture width is considered using analytical and boundary element models. Results indicate that cooling induces a pore pressure drop inside the formation that ...
متن کاملT2Well - An integrated wellbore-reservoir simulator
We have developed T2Well, a numerical simulator for nonisothermal, multiphase, multicomponent flows in integrated wellbore-reservoir systems. The new model extends the existing numerical reservoir simulator TOUGH2 to calculate the flow in both the wellbore and the reservoir simultaneously and efficiently, by introducing a special wellbore subdomain into the numerical grid. For gridblocks in the...
متن کاملWellbore associated problems due to gas injection into non-horizontal structures
The rapid growth in natural gas consumption has increased the need for gas storage, in particular in the form of injection into depleted reservoirs. Also, CO2 sequestration into the depleted reservoirs has attracted a large attention recently. However, it is important to ensure that the injection pressure is maintained below a certain limit to avoid unsealing the cap rock or reactivation of any...
